Hands On Seminars

Hands-on Seminars is the leading continuing education organisation with a purpose to provide the best quality Manual Therapy seminars at an affordable cost. Recent advances in sonar and ultrasound technology have created a more functional and practical approach to evaluate joints, muscles, ligaments and even nerves. Clinical evidence and research support using ultrasound as the first diagnostic test for numerous musculoskeletal conditions. Diagnostic ultrasound offers a number of important advantages compared to X-Ray, CT and MRI, in terms of safety and effectiveness. Musculoskeletal ultrasound simply uses sonic waves, and there is no exposure to radiation. At the same time, diagnostic ultrasound is noninvasive and offers real-time imaging, allowing for examinations of structures at rest and in motion. This ability to capture the movement of musculoskeletal components, differentiates it from other imaging modalities, and can permit more accurate diagnoses. Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSKUS) is revolutionising the Physical Therapy and Medical professions and leads to true Professional Practise Autonomy elevating your profession to levels never seen before.

Interventional Orthopaedics Foundation

IOF is the first non-profit dedicated solely to Interventional Orthopaedics. Our competency-based Physician Education Programme has the potential to revolutionise regenerative medical education by personalizing physician learning in a clinical environment. In our courses, physicians learn and apply core injection skills in a real medical setting with skilled instructors and support staff. We continually strive to make our courses practical, hands-on, and engaging. We support injectates that can facilitate healing of bone, tendon, ligaments, muscle or cartilage. We teach the precise placement of those injectates into damaged structures using image guidance. We work to develop new tools that facilitate percutaneous tissue manipulation.

MSK US + Regenerative Medicine for the Foot and Ankle

Given the ever-changing demands in health, fitness and medical technology, there has been an increase in foot and ankle injuries. This course is designed to bring state of the art treatments with an emphasis on ultrasound in order to maximize the patient’s quality of life and activity levels.

Experts in regenerative medicine and musculoskeletal ultrasound will combine their efforts to bring participants to higher levels of clinical acumen. Real time clinical scenarios will be emphasised so that following the course, attendees will be armed to implement the content presented.
