Two Regional Sales Managers Added to Strengthen U.S. Sales Team
BOTHELL, WA - April 4, 2005 - Sonosite, Inc. (Nasdaq: SONO), the world leader in hand-carried ultrasound, today announced the results of an independently conducted survey designed to monitor and track satisfaction levels of its U.S. customers regarding the Sonosite TITAN„¢, 180PLUS and 180 ELITE product lines. Customers gave their Sonosite products a resounding overall satisfaction rating of 97%. An overwhelming majority reported that Sonosite's hand-carried systems performance met or surpassed expectations relative to image quality, ease of use, durability, reliability and ergonomic design of transducers. The survey also reported that four out of five customers believe that the image quality of their Sonosite systems is either equal to or better than other ultrasound products.
"As the leader in the rapidly growing hand carried ultrasound market, customer satisfaction is a top priority," said Kevin M. Goodwin, Sonosite President and CEO. "We believe that our industry leading technology and dedicated focus will allow us to continue to achieve high satisfaction ratings with our customers and remain at the forefront of this market."
Verispan, an independent health care information research firm, conducted the company-commissioned survey.
Full U.S. Regional Management Sales Team In Place
Sonosite also announced today the appointments of Dennis Della Penna and Craig Dickinson as regional sales managers who will be focused on addressing the growing sales and marketing opportunities in the U.S. hand carried ultrasound market. Mr. Della Penna, formerly with Philips Medical Systems, has over 25 years of experience in the ultrasound industry, and Mr. Dickinson, formerly with SpaceLabs Medical, brings 12 years of experience in the medical equipment business.
