Company to Report Complete Second Quarter Financial Results July 30, 2007 BOTHELL, WA, July 5, 2007 - Sonosite, Inc. (Nasdaq:SONO), today provided preliminary revenue results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2007. The company said that worldwide revenue grew approximately 20% to over $47 million compared to the second quarter of 2006. For the first half of 2007, worldwide revenue grew approximately 18% to about $90 million compared with $76.4 million for the first half of the prior year.

Independent survey shows majority of customers report image quality is better than other ultrasound products used BOTHELL, WA - August 17, 2006 - Sonosite, Inc. (Nasdaq:SONO), the world leader in hand-carried ultrasound, said today that an independently conducted, random survey of U.S. Sonosite customers showed that 97% are highly satisfied overall with their system with nearly 9 out of 10 customers saying in the statistically significant survey that they are "completely" or "very satisfied". Respondents were required to be involved in the day-to-day operation or usage of the Sonosite products being profiled and not just involved with the acquisition decision. Image quality, ease of use, system reliability and durability, and ergonomic design of transducers were key reasons for the high satisfaction rating.
Two-thirds of respondents said that image quality of their Sonosite product is better in comparison to other ultrasound products they have used. Federal Circuit Affirms Lower Court Summary Judgment in Sonosite's Favor BOTHELL, WA - December 14, 2006 - Sonosite, Inc. (Nasdaq:SONO), the world leader in hand-carried ultrasound, announced today that the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has affirmed a lower federal court's summary judgment of invalidity in favor of Sonosite against Neutrino Development Corporation (Neutrino), a patent holding company. In March 2006, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division, granted Sonosite's motion for summary judgment, and reversed its earlier finding that Sonosite infringed Neutrino's patent, US Patent No. 6,221,021 ("the '021 patent").
Neutrino had appealed the district court decision to the Federal Circuit, a specialized appellate court that hears patent appeals. As the company previously disclosed in its news release issued on October 16, 2006, worldwide revenue in the third quarter of 2006 increased 16% to $40.3 million compared with $34.8 million in the third quarter of 2005. During the third quarter, total US revenue grew 15% to $23.4 million and international revenue grew 18% to $16.9 million compared with the prior year quarter.
