Respondents were required to be involved in the day-to-day operation or usage of the Sonosite products being profiled and not just involved with the acquisition decision. Image quality, ease of use, system reliability and durability, and ergonomic design of transducers were key reasons for the high satisfaction rating. Federal Circuit Affirms Lower Court Summary Judgment in Sonosite's Favor BOTHELL, WA - December 14, 2006 - Sonosite, Inc. In March 2006, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division, granted Sonosite's motion for summary judgment, and reversed its earlier finding that Sonosite infringed Neutrino's patent, US Patent No. 6,221,021 ("the '021 patent").
